What is self storage?

Self storage is an affordable, efficient way for you to store your life's possessions in a clean and secure environment. Why crawl around a dusty attic searching for rarely used items, when you can walk into a clean and bright storage facility with all your items within easy reach. Self storage makes it easy to store items of all shapes and sizes in one convenient location.

How do I use it?

What's great about self storage is you can use it anyway you see fit:
- As an extension of your home to store rarely used items
- Store seasonal items, such as holiday decorations and winter apparel
- For belongings too sentimental to throw away or sell
- As a mini-warehouse for a growing home business

Do you offer services for both the household and business customer?

Kloter Storage has services for both the household and business customer. We have several local small businesses as customers that need convenient and affordable storage space. As businesses grow, they look to us until they are ready for physical expansion.

Can I buy boxes and other packing products from Kloter Storage?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of boxes and packing supplies.

Do you have moving carts available?

We have platform carts, hand trucks and dollies available for your use (no charge) at any time. They are especially handy to access our inside hallway units. Please let the Manager know and we will be happy to assist you.

Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?

We utilize a Central Locking System. When you rent a unit, you receive your own key. That key fits only your unit.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?

Yes, we are somewhat limited with outdoor space but if its available, its yours.

What is a drive-up unit?

A drive-up unit is an outside unit, located at ground level of a facility giving you the ability to load your belongings directly from a vehicle or truck.

What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?

The office hours are the hours of operation for the property. During these hours the Store Manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. The gate hours are the hours of the property, and when your unit can be accessed. If you require access outside of our standard gate hours ask your Store Manager for information about 24-hour access.

How far in advance can I book a reservation?

We give you the flexibility to book a reservation up to 30 days in advance to help you plan ahead.

What is the difference between an indoor and outdoor unit?

An outdoor unit has access from outside. An indoor unit is within the property and will require you to go inside to access your unit.

What are the payment terms?

Kloter Storage strives to make your storage experience as hassle free as possible, including paying your bill. Typically, our leases are month-to-month but we also offer the flexibility of long-term leases. We also offer online payment. We can automatically charge your Mastercard®, Visa®, Discover®.
